Elmley is a 3,200 acre estate based on an island in the Thames, situated away from the bustle of North Kent, just an hour from London.

BARTONS POINT NATURE RESERVE

Set in over 40 acres of outstanding natural beauty, Barton’s Point Coastal Park features a Salt-Water Lake, a section of the Sheppey Cycle Route.

THE CRITERIAN BLUE TOWN

The present Heritage Centre is on the site of 2 earlier establishments. Originally the “New Inn” in 1868 the site became “The Royal Oxford Music Hall”

MINSTER ABBEY GATE HOUSE MUSEUM

ROSE STREET COTTAGE OF CURIOSITIES

Rose Street Cottage and its two neighbouring properties are the only remaining homes that were built for Sheerness Dockyard workers in the 18th and 19th centuries.

The aviation history of Sheppey dates from the very earliest days of pioneer flying in the UK. The Museum aims to record this heritage.
